Nestled in the quaint Langkawi town, my stay at De Baron Resort offered a tranquil retreat. The spacious deluxe room exuded a touch of luxury with its Bali-inspired decor, creating a serene ambiance akin to upscale resorts. As a digital nomad, I found the high-speed internet access truly convenient, allowing me to seamlessly catch up on work against the backdrop of the sea from the terrace. The outdoor pool, though refreshing, had minor cleanliness issues. However, the spa services were excellent, delivering a much-needed rejuvenation after days of exploration.For those seeking a relaxing getaway, De Baron proves to be an ideal choice. The proximity to both the serene seafront and vibrant town shopping area provides a perfect balance of serenity and convenience. While it may lack some extravagance, the resort's simplicity and peaceful surroundings beckon those yearning for a tranquil escape. If you appreciate calmness over extravagance, De Baron may just be the retreat you seek.
